I’M ABBY

I’m honoured when people hire me to capture significant moments for them. Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is a big decision. You may not feel totally comfortable in front of the camera and you want your wedding photos to feel authentic and honest to you.

I don’t take this responsibility lightly! Some of my all-time favourite photos were all taken in the moment. They were the photos that weren’t planned. The moments that pause just long enough to be captured; tears from parents at the ceremony, hugs from your guests, a flower girl standing by your side in awe of you, grandparents sitting at the reception by candlelight, taking everything in. My job is to step back, and oversee all the beautiful moments occurring on your wedding day, that you may only remember through your photos.

I stand in the shadows of everything you want to relive. Intentionally aware of beauty and preserving each magical moment forever.

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2016 and over all of that time, while adapting to the style of weddings, my approach has stayed the same. I am confident you will walk away with a gallery you will love and cherish for years to come. I often think about the anniversaries you will celebrate where you look back on these photos in 10,20 and 50 years time. They become the photos printed around the house, etched in history for your family generations to cherish.

I am drawn to pursuing the moments that are honest, simple and filled with poetic connection.
